Café and restaurant One thing is clear: an important facility for any International Press Centre is its own café/restaurant, and we decided to house it in no less than the stylish surroundings of the former Banqueting Hall on the ground floor. For a taste of what lies in store click here.
Not only will you be charmed by the splendour of the decor, but also spoilt by the high quality of the food and drink on offer. The café/restaurant is open from Monday to Friday.
The restaurant can seat more than 100 people.
The cuisine is perhaps best described as 'brasserie' style, offering the finest Belgian dishes (depending on seasonal availability) as well as a few selected specialities from other countries.
The café is where customers can be served a cool beer; after all, this is Belgium. And since we are only too aware of the fact that journalists tend to work irregular hours, sandwiches and snacks are available in the café all day long.
Looking for a place to meet up with colleagues and chat? Trying to find a quiet corner to sip your drink and read your paper? No problem. A separate lounge next door to the café has been set aside for this very purpose.
